Specializing in Strengths-Based Therapy

I believe in using a strengths-based approach to foster self-efficacy and self-compassion. My therapy style focuses on identifying what works for you and opening dialogue with your inner protectors and critics. I use Internal Family Systems therapy and Solution-Focused therapy to empower you to navigate life's challenges and enhance your mental well-being.

My Background

I earned my master's degree in counseling at Seattle University, meeting high standards. My past counseling experience was in community mental health, working with society's most vulnerable populations and treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, bipolar disorder, and much more. I currently sit on the board of Washington SAIGE, an organization focused on counselors and related professionals serving queer communities.

My Personal Journey

As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with my mental health and went to therapy. In therapy, I learned skills to help me navigate the world with less stress, and I gained insight that has helped me heal from past trauma and live a better life.  Now, I aim to share the benefits of therapy with others, using the experience I have as both counselor and client.

Supervision

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, Washington State law requires me to practice under supervision. The purpose of supervision is to ensure that I provide a high standard of care under the guidance of an expert. I currently practice under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Kennett, LH60516584.

Disclosure Statement

I believe that transparency of practice policies and what the therapeutic process looks like are fundamental to building a working relationship. To honor that, I offer a copy of my current disclosure statement here for easy access:
